Audience Killers & Polifauna concert June 15

Open air concert on Thursday June 17 from 7-11PM with legendary Latvian band Audience Killers and new name in music - Polifauna.

AUDIENCE KILLERS 

Three friends from childhood town in their early 20s, who's music features ethereal group vocals, bright piano and warm synths used throughout the songs, fitting with its buoyant, shore-crashing feel. All amalgamated with a sincere calling towards the dancefloor - but not quite. Still they manage to fully maintain their quaint electronic sound and offers wonderfully strange music on their own terms.

The trio have released a series of singles and the EP on 2012. The band has performed at festivals throughout Europe include: ‘The Great Escape’ (UK), ‘Positivus’ (LV), 'Reeperbahn Festival' (DE), 'Tallinn Music Week' (EE) ‘Karklė’ (LT), ‘Vilnius Music Week’ (LT) and more.

On 2016, Audience Killers releases their debut album ‘Floating Islands’, which gives a strong indication of the band’s potential.

Today, the exciting trio return, with the news of their brand new song 'Say the Word’, 2017.

POLIFAUNA is a five piece space pop band from Riga, Latvia. POLIFAUNA sound is influenced by 80& 90s music (The Smiths, The Cure, Cocteau Twins, The Stone Roses, Mazzy Star, The Verve, Radiohead and many more). Currently the band has

finished recording its first LP, which will be released in May 2017.

POLIFAUNA consists of rather well experienced musicians, who have played in other projects for a quite long time. However, this time the band has more ambitious plans embracing different attitude towards the process of music making. They have spent more than a year rehearsing and recording their material in collaboration with some of the best sound engineers and producers from Latvia.
